Introduction to statistics
This is my introduction to / essay on statistics. I say "introduction" but it's really intended to be read alongside or after traditional statistics study. The core of it is programming simulations to provide a basis for understanding conceptual foundations of significance testing. In so doing it serves as an introduction to using Python and the NumPy package for data analysis (it's not an introduction to Python itself - it assumes you'll have done a general tutorial for that). It's also liberally sprinkled with opinions to enjoy or ignore. There's a kindle and print version, same content as the PDF (apart from the PDF being updated more regularly).
